Description

A small, robust marine gastropod shell, typically turbinate to biconical in shape. It features a moderately elevated spire and a wide body whorl, adorned with strong, nodulose axial ribs (varices) that give it a somewhat angular or 'deltoid' profile. The shell exhibits a striking color pattern of a white or cream background overlaid with broad, irregular reddish-brown to dark brown spiral bands and blotches. The aperture is ovate and white internally.
