Description
A marine predatory snail, Gevers's Trophon is characterized by a robust, fusiform shell with a prominent spire and a distinct siphonal canal. Its surface is heavily sculptured with strong, often lamellar or somewhat spiny axial ribs and prominent spiral cords. The shell color typically ranges from light brown to reddish-brown, often with lighter bands on the ribs. It is native to the cold waters of the Patagonian region.
