Description
The Gladiator Cone is a medium-sized, heavy cone shell characterized by its conical shape, broad shoulder, and moderately elevated spire. The shell surface is generally smooth, though fine spiral grooves may be present, particularly towards the base. Its striking coloration features a white or cream background adorned with prominent reddish-brown to orange-brown axial flames or streaks, often concentrated in two spiral bands around the body whorl. The aperture is long, narrow, and typically white internally.
