Description
The image displays three small, turbinate to trochiform seashells, likely belonging to the genus Clanculus. They exhibit a characteristic granular or nodulose sculpture across their surface. The shells are generally dull in color externally, with shades of brown, grey, and hints of purplish-blue, often with lighter patches of encrustation or wear. The aperture is clearly nacreous (iridescent) on the interior, and two of the shells show a pale, calcareous operculum, which is a distinguishing feature for many top snails. The overall appearance suggests a species adapted to rocky, intertidal environments.
