Description
A moderately inflated bivalve shell, oval to sub-quadrate in outline, characterized by prominent and regular concentric growth ridges (lamellae) on its surface. The shell exhibits a yellowish-tan to light brown coloration, often with darker areas near the umbo, and appears to be equivalve.
