Description
A bivalve seashell, specifically a Venus clam, characterized by its ovate to subtrigonal shape and prominent concentric sculpture. The shell exhibits a light cream or beige background color adorned with irregular reddish-brown blotches and concentric bands, particularly noticeable towards the umbo. This specimen appears to be a single valve, showcasing the exterior ornamentation.
