Description
Lioconcha hieroglyphica, commonly known as the Hieroglyphic Venus Clam, is a species of marine bivalve mollusk. Its shell is characterized by an inflated, ovate to subtrigonal shape with a smooth, glossy surface. The striking coloration features a white or cream background adorned with intricate reddish-brown to dark brown zigzag or hieroglyphic-like patterns.
