Description

A medium-sized marine gastropod shell, globose to ovate in shape with a low, depressed spire. The shell surface is smooth and glossy, typically white or cream with striking irregular reddish-brown to dark brown axial streaks and blotches. The aperture is large and D-shaped, and a prominent, often brownish, columellar callus partially or fully covers the umbilicus.
