Description

A medium-sized, thick-shelled marine snail with a biconical to ovate shape. The shell features prominent axial ribs or nodules and spiral cords, giving it a sculptured appearance. Its coloration typically consists of a white or cream background with distinct dark brown to black axial bands or blotches, particularly prominent on the nodules. The aperture is often purplish or lavender, and the outer lip may have denticles. It possesses a short siphonal canal.
