Description
A small, robust marine gastropod shell, characterized by its conical to ovate-conical shape and highly sculptured surface. The shell features prominent, rounded, white nodules arranged in spiral rows, often giving it a beaded or knobby appearance. Dark brown or black coloration typically fills the depressions between these white nodules, creating a striking contrast. The spire is moderately elevated, and the aperture is relatively small with a short siphonal canal.
