Description

A robust, medium-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its heavily sculptured exterior and striking aperture. The shell surface is rough, adorned with prominent nodules or blunt spines, and often appears encrusted with other organisms, displaying mottled reddish-brown, pinkish, and off-white coloration. The interior of the aperture is a distinctive pale purple or lavender, featuring several prominent white denticles (teeth) on the inner lip. A dark, almost black operculum is visible within the aperture, indicating a live specimen.
