Description

A medium-sized, highly spiny marine gastropod, typically pale in color, with numerous long, sharp, hollow spines arranged in rows along the body whorl and a very long, spiny siphonal canal. The shell is fusiform and robust, often found partially buried in sandy or muddy substrates. The image shows a live specimen partially covered in sand, revealing its intricate spiny structure.
