Description

A medium-sized, highly ornate marine gastropod shell, characterized by its prominent, sharp, hollow spines arranged in axial rows (varices). The shell is fusiform with a high spire and a very long, straight siphonal canal, also adorned with spines. The aperture is ovate and typically white.
