Description

A medium-sized, globose marine snail shell, typically found in sandy or muddy subtidal environments. It features a smooth surface and a distinctive color pattern of wavy, irregular reddish-brown or purplish-brown axial bands on a pale, creamy background. The spire is relatively low. The specimen in the image appears to be inhabited by a hermit crab.
