Description

A small, slender, and highly polished marine gastropod shell, held in the palm of a hand. The shell exhibits an elongate-ovate shape with a moderately tall, pointed spire. Its surface is smooth and glossy, appearing pale whitish to translucent. The aperture is narrow and elongated, extending nearly the full length of the body whorl. The columella (inner lip) shows characteristic oblique folds, particularly a prominent one at the anterior end, which is a key identifying feature for the genus Olivella.
