Description
A medium-sized bivalve shell, Paphia euglypta, characterized by its elongated-oval to subquadrate shape and moderately inflated valves. The exterior displays a light brown to tan background adorned with distinctive irregular, dark brown, often chevron-like or blotchy patterns, particularly along the concentric growth lines. The interior is smooth, off-white to pale cream, showing typical muscle scars and a pallial line. The shell exhibits clear, fine concentric growth striae.
