Description
Patella candei is a species of true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc, characterized by its robust, conical shell. The shell exhibits a rough, often eroded exterior, typically mottled with shades of brown, grey, and white, sometimes with radiating patterns. The interior is strikingly smooth and glossy, displaying concentric growth lines and a vibrant coloration ranging from reddish-brown at the margins to amber and a distinct, often iridescent, bluish-white or greyish-white central muscle scar. This specimen shows a well-preserved interior with rich, warm tones.
