Description

A medium-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its intricate and frilly sculpture. The shell is generally light in color, appearing creamy white to yellowish in the image, with some darker brown or purplish staining, particularly around the aperture and on the varices. It exhibits prominent, fimbriated (fringed or frilly) axial varices, which are characteristic of the genus. The aperture is distinct, somewhat ovate, and leads into a tubular siphonal canal, which is partially visible. The overall shape is fusiform, tapering towards the apex and the siphonal canal.
