Description

A medium-sized, heavy cone shell characterized by its conical shape, broad shoulder, and a relatively low, slightly stepped spire. The shell exhibits a striking reddish-brown to purplish-brown background color adorned with numerous white or pale yellowish spots, often forming a distinctive reticulated or checkered pattern across the body whorl. The aperture is long and narrow, with a pale, often yellowish-white interior.
