Description
A vibrant reddish-orange seashell, characteristic of a scallop, with a suborbicular shape and prominent radial ribs. The ribs are adorned with distinctive, raised, scale-like spines, particularly noticeable towards the shell's margin. The shell exhibits a lighter coloration near the umbo and on the lower auricle, contrasting with the dominant red-orange hue.
