Description
A large, heavy, and ovate cowrie shell, characterized by its highly glossy, dark brown dorsal surface, often mottled with irregular reddish-brown or lighter brown patches. The ventral side is typically a lighter cream to light brown, featuring a long, narrow aperture lined with numerous, fine, dark brown teeth. Both the anterior and posterior canals are well-defined. The shell's overall appearance is robust and somewhat humped.
