Description
A medium-sized marine gastropod, commonly known as the Sparrow Turbo, characterized by its robust, turbinate shell. The shell exhibits a striking pattern of dark brown or black with irregular, yellowish-green or cream-colored blotches and streaks. It is typically found grazing on algae in rocky intertidal and shallow subtidal zones of the Indo-Pacific.
