Description
A large, heavy, and glossy cowrie shell, ovate to pyriform in shape with a distinctly humped dorsal surface. The shell is typically creamy white to pale yellowish-brown, often exhibiting subtle darker mottling or banding on the sides. The aperture is narrow and toothed (though not visible in this dorsal view). The specimen in the image appears to be a mature shell, showing the characteristic smooth, polished surface.
