Description
A robust, medium-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its distinctive trochiform (conical) shape and heavily sculptured surface. The shell features prominent, blunt, somewhat flattened nodules or spines arranged radially around the periphery of each whorl, giving it a star-like appearance when viewed from above. The base is relatively flat, and the aperture is pearly white inside.
