Description
A small to medium-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its conical-ovate shape with a moderately high, pointed spire and a relatively large body whorl. The shell exhibits a highly variable color pattern, typically featuring a creamy white to light brown background adorned with prominent, irregular reddish-brown to dark brown axial stripes and blotches. The outer lip is often thickened and slightly flared. The specimen in the image appears to be an adult, resting on a textured, possibly rocky substrate covered with green algae.
