Description
Walker's cowrie is a medium-sized, glossy, ovate seashell belonging to the cowrie family. Its shell is characterized by a pale, often creamy white to light orange or tan background color, prominently marked with two broad, dark reddish-brown transverse bands across its dorsal surface. The shell also features numerous fine brown speckles, particularly visible on the sides. Like other cowries, it has a smooth, highly polished surface and a humped profile. The aperture, not visible in this dorsal view, is typically narrow and toothed.
