Description

A medium to large, highly glossy cowry shell, characterized by its ovate and distinctly humped profile. The dorsal surface is adorned with prominent, irregular dark brown to reddish-brown blotches and bands set against a lighter cream or tan background. The base and margins are typically a deep dark brown to black.
