Description

A single valve of a bivalve mollusc, commonly known as a scallop. It exhibits a classic fan shape with numerous, fine, and distinct radial ribs extending from the umbo to the shell margin. The shell is uniformly pale yellowish-cream in color, with some sand particles adhering to its surface, indicating a marine or beach environment. Distinct auricles are present at the hinge line.
