Description

A species of keyhole limpet, Fissurella pulchra, characterized by its flattened, oval shell with a distinct, elongated keyhole-shaped opening (foramen) at the apex. The shell exhibits concentric growth lines and a coloration ranging from reddish-brown to purplish-brown, often with lighter bands and darker, irregular spots. The interior margin around the foramen is typically white. This marine gastropod is a grazer found on rocky substrates.
