Description
A large, thick-shelled marine bivalve, commonly known as the Pacific Geoduck. The shell is oblong to somewhat rectangular, robust, and typically gapes at both ends. It features prominent concentric growth lines. This specimen appears to be a fossilized or heavily weathered shell, showing a grayish-brown coloration consistent with sediment staining.
