Description
Hunter's Volute is a marine gastropod mollusk characterized by its moderately large, ovate-conical shell. The shell typically features a creamy white to pale beige background color, adorned with striking and irregular reddish-brown to dark brown axial patterns, often appearing as wavy lines or blotches. It possesses a moderately elevated, pointed spire and a relatively smooth, glossy surface. This predatory snail inhabits sandy or muddy substrates in subtidal waters.
