Description
The Vermiculate Cone is a species of predatory sea snail, characterized by its distinctive conical shell. The shell exhibits a striking pattern of irregular, wavy dark brown or reddish-brown lines and blotches on a white to cream background, giving it a 'vermiculate' (worm-like) appearance. It possesses a moderately elevated spire and a smooth, glossy surface. Like other cone snails, it is venomous, using a harpoon-like radular tooth to capture its prey.
