Description
A robust, medium to large-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its turbinate to ovate shape and prominent sculpture. The exterior is typically a warm orange-brown or reddish-brown, often with lighter bands, while the interior of the aperture is a glossy white. The shell features strong axial ribs that can be nodulose or frilly, and a distinctive, undulated or frilled outer lip.
