Description
A robust, medium-sized gastropod shell characterized by its highly sculptured surface. It exhibits a fusiform shape with a moderately high spire. The shell is adorned with prominent, frilly or spiny axial varices and strong, nodulose spiral cords, giving it a very rough and textured appearance. The coloration is a mottled mix of brown and white or cream, often with darker brown bands. The aperture is ovate, featuring a distinctly crenulated or denticulate outer lip and a smooth, whitish columella. A short, open siphonal canal is present.
