Description
The image displays three specimens of Polinices bifasciatus, a marine gastropod shell. The shells are globose to ovate in shape, with a smooth surface and a low spire. They exhibit a characteristic D-shaped aperture, a calloused inner lip, and a distinct umbilicus. The coloration is generally light brown to cream, adorned with darker reddish-brown spiral bands and fine, irregular axial growth lines. The interior of the aperture is whitish.
