Description
The Riband-marked Stromb is a medium-sized, solid marine gastropod shell characterized by its conical to fusiform shape and moderately high, pointed spire. The body whorl is large and smooth, tapering towards a short siphonal canal. The aperture is long and narrow, with a smooth outer lip and a simple columella. Its distinctive color pattern of warm brown or orange-brown with irregular white or cream-colored axial streaks and sometimes faint spiral bands makes it easily recognizable.
