Description

A robust, globose to ovate marine gastropod shell, characterized by a pale, off-white exterior with a distinctly nodulose or tuberculate surface. The spire is relatively low, and the body whorl is large. The aperture is wide and ovate, featuring a smooth, glossy white interior. A key identifying feature is the presence of prominent dark brown to black spots or streaks on the columellar side of the aperture. The outer lip is often slightly thickened.
