Description
A medium-sized, solid, and heavy marine gastropod shell, characterized by its turbinate (turban-like) shape with a low spire and a large, rounded body whorl. The shell surface is sculptured with prominent spiral cords, which are often nodulose or granular, especially on the upper whorls. Its coloration typically features mottled or banded patterns of reddish-brown, purplish-brown, and cream or tan.
