Description
A small, fusiform (spindle-shaped) marine gastropod shell with a moderately high spire and a relatively short siphonal canal. The shell surface is characterized by prominent axial ribs and spiral cords, which intersect to create a nodulose or cancellate sculpture. The aperture is ovate, and the outer lip is distinctly crenulated or denticulate. The overall coloration is pale cream to light brownish-orange, often with reddish-brown markings or bands on the spiral cords and ribs.
