Description
A medium-sized, heavy, conical shell with a moderately elevated, nodulose spire. The body whorl is smooth with fine spiral striae, and the aperture is long and narrow. The shell exhibits a striking pattern of dark brown to purplish-brown with irregular, large white or cream-colored blotches arranged in two broad spiral bands.
