Description
A medium-sized cone snail, *Conus solomonensis* is characterized by its conical shell and moderately elevated spire. The shell exhibits a pale, often cream or light beige, background adorned with distinctive irregular dark brown to reddish-brown blotches and streaks, which can sometimes form axial bands or spiral patterns. It is a carnivorous species, preying on other marine organisms using a venomous harpoon. The specimen in the image is shown on a sandy and rubbly seafloor, indicative of its typical habitat.
