Description

A medium-sized marine snail shell, characterized by its robust, turbinate to ovate-conical shape and prominent sculptural features. The shell surface is adorned with strong spiral cords and distinct, rounded nodules or blunt spines, particularly noticeable on the shoulder and upper whorls. The coloration is variable but often includes shades of greenish-grey, grey, or brownish, with darker tones or purplish hues in the grooves or on the lower parts of the shell. This specimen is shown resting on a rocky substrate, indicative of its intertidal habitat.
