Description

A marine gastropod characterized by a fusiform shell with a moderately high spire. The shell exhibits strong sculptural elements, including prominent axial ribs (varices) and distinct spiral cords, which create a nodulose or cancellate surface texture. The coloration typically consists of a creamy white or light tan background adorned with irregular dark brown or reddish-brown blotches, particularly noticeable on the varices and within the depressions of the sculpture. The living animal, as seen, displays a pale, translucent foot with fine white speckles and an extended, mottled siphon.
